PROGRAMME FRAMEWORK

The Highway Concession Conference (HCC) 2024, anchored by the theme of "Highway Revitalization: Balancing Engineering, Social and Environment Innovatively". This event was the culmination of technical programs in the toll highway industry in Malaysia. Against the backdrop of evolving societal needs and environmental imperatives, HCC embodies a concerted effort to navigate the intricate intersection of engineering excellence, social inclusivity, and environmental stewardship. The last time LLM hosted this programme was in 2019 at Lexis Hotel, Penang.

PROGRAMME DIRECTIONS

HCC was designed primarily to share the aspirations, experiences, ideas and discuss current issues or challenges faced by the highway industry in Malaysia especially in toll highway financing, operation and maintenance. The organizer believes this conference will also be a strong platform for professional networking and exchanging ideas with regards to digitalisation of services and leveraging on technological advancement to increase the efficiency in managing the toll highways.

OBJECTIVES

The objectives of the HCC Programme are to facilitate the exchange of experience and ideas from experts in areas related to the highway industry, discuss current challenges in the Malaysian highway industry, provide a professional networking platform, encourage the application of digitalization in highway services, and promote environmental sustainability in toll highway operations.
